Accelerating energy transition through materials innovation

At Valerion Energy, we are leading the charge to transform
 battery technology.

We are building intelligent battery components using aramid nanofibers (ANFs) to push the boundaries of battery performance and sustainability.

01

The aramid nanofiber advantage

Aramid nanofibers (ANFs) represent a potential breakthrough in battery component technology.

Aramid materials are known for their strength and stability, featured in products such as KEVLAR and NOMEX.

Valerion's nanofibers are 1/10,000th the width of KEVLAR macrofibers, unlocking nanoscale properties, including exceptional performance as a battery separator material. The intrinsic toughness and tunability of ANF, combined with our scalable fabrication methods, sets a new standard in battery separator performance.

Our Aramid Nanofiber Voltaic Ion-conducting Layer (ANVIL) technology aims to unlock the full potential of current and novel battery chemistries - at scale.

02

Advanced mobility applications require new battery technologies

From affordable EVs to air taxis - next generation mobility applications depend on high performance, cost effective batteries with energy density requirements far above today's technologies.

Our super-thin separator offers significantly volumetric higher energy density at the pack level, and may enable novel anode, cathode and electrolyte combinations - paving the way for batteries with as much as ten times the density of current batteries.

03

Transforming industries for good

The adoption of electric mobility solutions has been hampered by the high cost of batteries, exacerbated by raw material shortages and scarcity, processing limitations, and stressed global supply chains. Meanwhile end-user expectations for safer, longer-lived, and higher performing batteries continue to rise.

Next generation battery materials are more abundant and environmentally sound -  and significantly cheaper than rare mineral cathode materials.
